Tea lowers ovarian cancer risk by up to 46%

Study found Tea may protect against Ovarian Cancer

A Swedish study followed more than 60,000 women ages 40 to 76 for more than 15 years. Analysis of their food showed that women who drank more than two cups of tea a day lowered their ovarian cancer risk by 46%; those who drank one cup of tea a day lowered their risk by 24%. On average, each additional cup of tea was associated with an 18% decrease in the risk for developing ovarian cancer.

The results of this study were published in the Archives of Internal Medicine in December 2005.

At Salubre we have been busy, recently attending the Good Food & Wine Show in Melbourne.

What a great event, where people with a love of good food gathered to try new products. At the show we met many people who tried Salubre teas for the first time.

We were delighted to speak with people about their impressions of each of the teas as they tried samples of our range.

Some comments received included.....
