Directions for Best Results

For maximum hydration and skin barrier support, apply the Salubrious Skin Balm immediately after showering or bathing while your skin is still slightly damp. The moisture left on the skin helps the balm lock in hydration and supports deeper, longer-lasting nourishment.

Warm a small amount of balm between your palms until it melts, then gently massage it into the affected areas until evenly coated.

For best results:

• Apply morning and evening as part of your daily skincare routine.
• Allow 10–20 minutes for the balm to fully absorb before getting dressed to minimise product transfer and maximise skin absorption.
• Wear soft, breathable cotton clothing or pyjamas after application to help reduce friction and irritation on sensitive skin.
• Reapply throughout the day whenever your skin feels dry, tight or uncomfortable.
• For intensive overnight nourishment, apply a slightly thicker layer before bed to support the skin barrier while you sleep.

Active Ingredients

Castor Seed Oil
A highly viscous botanical oil rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that contributes to its dense, cushioning texture on skin. In topical applications, it functions primarily as an occlusive-emollient hybrid, forming a protective lipid layer that helps reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL). This supports improved skin hydration levels and helps soften areas of dryness and rough surface texture.

Avocado Oil
A nutrient-dense oil composed of oleic acid, linoleic acid, phytosterols, and fat-soluble vitamins. Its lipid profile closely resembles components found in the skin’s natural barrier lipids, allowing it to integrate effectively into the stratum corneum. This helps support barrier flexibility, lipid replenishment, and improved skin suppleness, particularly in dry or lipid-depleted skin states.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil
A structurally modified derivative of castor oil with wax-like properties. It functions primarily as a structuring agent and occlusive emollient, forming a semi-protective film over the skin surface. This assists in reducing moisture evaporation while enhancing skin smoothness and product stability.

Shea Butter
A complex natural lipid containing stearic acid, oleic acid, and unsaponifiable fractions including triterpenes and tocopherols. Carnauba Wax

Kokum Butter
A highly stable vegetable butter rich in stearic- and oleic-based triglycerides. It is known for its non-greasy emollient profile, absorbing readily while helping improve skin softness and surface smoothness. Its lipid structure supports replenishment of surface oils without heavy occlusion.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
A lightweight ester derived from medium-chain fatty acids. It functions as a fast-spreading emollient and skin conditioning agent, helping disperse heavier lipids evenly across the skin. It improves sensory feel, reduces greasiness, and supports a smooth, hydrated skin surface.

Andiroba Seed Oil
